Utility Wear seamlessly blends fashion and function. I have sourced good-quality, high-performing fabrics to create my Utility Wear. Most Sighthounds crave comfort, and my Utility Wear offers precisely that, designed for the British weather. I do not make extravagant claims about my fabrics, but they are fit for purpose, my designs work.

The Hybrid Jumper, developed from a soft shell jacket I made in 2019, has evolved into a beautifully made jumper using fabrics that work. The Hybrid allows full, unrestricted movement thanks to the stretch chest, while the elasticated underbelly ensures a close fit to the ribcage. The upper is water-resistant Teflon-coated microfleece with a smooth outer texture and a soft brushed backing — warm, windproof, and practical. The snood wind hood can be worn below the collar or secured using the bungee and toggle behind the ears. The Hybrid Jumper is our go-to garment at the Couch and Chase HQ and is worn more often than anything else I make.

Fabric composition: Teflon-coated microfleece upper (100% polyester), stretch chest and underbelly (95% cotton, 5% elastane).

Proud of Utility Wear… yes, I am!
