Size chart

Why do I have a size guide, when I make to order? This is to help you fine your price you will pay, if two of your sizes, fall in a size range, that is the price you will pay. All I need is your accurate measurements.

Everything I make is handmade, so it's really important you give yourself plenty of time to get those very important measurements! Check My Three T's measuring guide and Helpful Hound guide, detailing some handy tips on how to get the best measurements.

The Three T's measuring guide

Time

Give yourself plenty! This part can’t be rushed. Choose a time when your hound is the most relaxed, and if necessary, ask for help, so one of you measures while the other keeps your hound still/writes down the measurements.

Treats

For your hound, and for you! Make yourself a cup of tea, grab a biscuit, (and repeat if need be as most hounds are shape-shifters).

Tape

Use a soft measuring tape along with the Helpful Hound guide and make notes as you go. Measure three times, especially if your hound is a wriggler!

Getting the right fit for your hound's coat is as easy as 1, 2, 3! Grab your tape measure and follow these steps:

  1. Neck: Measure the circumference at the widest part—at the base of the neck.
  2. Chest: Wrap the tape around the largest part of their chest, this should be an inch behind their elbow—no sucking in, please!
  3. Body Length: Measure from the base of their neck to the start of their tail—no wagging allowed during this step!

With these measurements, you’ll ensure your hound stays snug, stylish, and ready for any adventure!

Now that you've got the perfect fit for your dog's outfit, it's time to add a little flair with a snood! Here's how to measure:

  1. Snoods: Measure around the middle of your hounds neck and add 3cm for a snug fit, 6cm for looser fit, some collars need a bigger size.
  2. Bandanas: Simply measure the circumference at the largest point of the neck for a comfy and stylish look.

With these simple measurements, your hounds look will be complete.

Good to know...

Your new jumper/T-shirt may look different on your hound to how it looks on my models, as our best friends are all individuals. The Warm Wear jumpers are designed to fit a little longer than the T shirts. The Utility Wear to cover the top of the tail.

Please use the Helpful Hounds measuring guide in conjunction with the size chart.
