Shipping and delivery

Last updated: 29 June 2026

Every Couch and Chase item is handmade to order, so delivery has two stages: making time and shipping time.

Making time

My usual making time is 14 to 21 days from the date of order.

This does not include delivery time.

During busy periods, making times may be up to 28 days. If your order is likely to take longer than usual, I will let you know.

Because each item is made to order, we do not usually offer rush orders.

UK delivery

UK delivery is calculated at checkout.

I usually use Royal Mail Tracked 24 after your item has been made. This is a tracked service and you will receive tracking details once your parcel has been dispatched.

I may occasionally use another suitable delivery provider.

We ship across the UK, including the Highlands, islands and Channel Islands, but excluding Northern Ireland. I do not ship to Europe, or worldwide.

Delivery costs

Delivery costs are shown at checkout before you pay.

We aim to charge the standard Royal Mail Tracked 24 cost and do not currently offer free shipping.

Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number.

Please use this to follow your parcel’s progress.

Safe place delivery

Royal Mail or the delivery provider may allow you to choose a safe place or delivery preference.

If you ask for your parcel to be left in a safe place, with a neighbour or in another chosen location, this is at your own risk once the parcel has been marked as delivered.

If you cannot find a parcel that has been marked as delivered, please contact us and we will help you contact Royal Mail or the relevant delivery provider.

Missing or delayed parcels

If your parcel has not arrived within 14 days of dispatch, please contact us at couchandchase@gmail.com.

We will check the tracking information and contact Royal Mail or the delivery provider where needed.

If the delivery provider confirms the parcel is lost, we will discuss the next steps with you.

Incorrect address details

Please make sure your delivery address is correct when placing your order.

We cannot be responsible for delays, failed delivery or lost parcels caused by incorrect or incomplete address details provided at checkout.

If a parcel is returned to us because the address was incorrect or delivery was not completed, you may need to pay the postage cost for the parcel to be sent again.

International delivery

Couch and Chase does not ship outside the UK (excluding Northern Ireland).
